Range and Practice Area
Whether you are a regular golfer or have never hit a ball, come, and swing a club on the Wanaka Golf Club’s 220m practice range.
- There are goal posts and targets to aim for.
- Hit from the artificial turf or grass designated areas (changes daily).
- Bring your own clubs or hire from the Proshop. Children’s clubs are also available.
- Try the chipping green and putting green to improve your short game.
- Try the Pitch n Putt, 5-hole Short Course for a fun friendly competition or to improve your
own game. The Short Course is fun for all aged children, but adult supervision is required for
under 12-year-olds. - Lessons are available from the Wanaka Golf Club Proshop.
RATES FOR 2023
SMALL Bucket of balls: $5 for members and $7 for non-members.
LARGE Bucket of balls: $7 for members and $13 for non-members.
CLUB HIRE (for use on Range only): 2 clubs for $5
CHILDREN’S CLUB HIRE: Free under 12 yrs
SHORT COURSE: $5 Children, $10 Adults. Members play free.
RANGE IS OPEN DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
Use of the range is available outside Proshop opening hours, but tokens need to be purchased from the Proshop during their Opening hours which are: Summer 7am – 6pm. Winter 8am – 5pm.
